Linda's mission is...
Good morning. Happy Monday. Happy Monday. It is September 15th. Good morning. Welcome back to Worthy and Abundant. Thank you for being here. It means the world to me that you're here listening. I hope this podcast is serving in supporting you in some way in multiple ways. I hope you're sharing it.
Thank you. Thank you. So today I wanna talk about the power of a morning practice and why it matters. So I used to have this. Rigid morning practice and it was powerful. I did so many things every single morning. Meditation, prayer journal, read what else? Of course exercise. It's always, that's not really part of the beginning morning practice, but lighting candles, setting intentions for the day. There's books on this, Hal Elrod's book, the Miracle Mourning, and there's a reason for it because it gives you mental clarity and emotional resilience.
It boosts productivity and focus. It creates a sense of control and purpose. And for me, it's about starting your day, connecting to God, connecting to source, knowing you're more than your body, you're more than your mind. You're not just your mind, you're not just your body. I wasn't gonna do the episode thinking everybody that listens already has a morning practice and an evening practice, but perhaps you don't.
Perhaps you got away from it and I got away from it. I started doing less and less and I realized that I need to come back to it because it's so good. It detaches us from the 3D. It detaches us from all the chaos and the autopilot and all the doing, and it allows us to just be, it allows us to be excited for the day, be grateful for a new day.
It helps us be present. So how are we gonna do it? You're gonna wake up a little bit earlier. You're going to dedicate space and time, perhaps a ritual. It could be five minutes. I'm telling you that five minutes in the morning to yourself to pray, to read, to sit with yourself, and meditation is gonna change your life.
So if you don't have an hour or 30 minutes, you can do five minutes. This helps you stay focused, it helps you. Connect to source, connect to God. It helps you become more resilient and less reactive in today, like when you're out in traffic and someone's, cuts you off or whatever.
So my morning practice, I like to light candles. I like to get my coffee. I use the mushroom coffee. Water, light candle, sit in meditation. I always say Thank you, God, for a new day, and then I'll ask where. I can serve and to use me as a vessel for good. Where would you have me go? What would you have me do?
What would you have me say? And to whom? That's Marianne Williamson, I believe, was the first person from a Course in Miracles. Where would you have me go? What would you have me do? What would you have me say and to whom? And then you can read something powerful that's inspiring. You can, journal your thoughts.
There's something called Morning Pages from the Artist's way where she writes just journals. And if you have nothing to say, I have nothing to say. Just keep writing. It's very helpful for us to write stuff out, whether it's your list that you want, whether it's, anything, just writing it out, writing affirmations out.
I am enough. I trust in my skills and abilities. I appreciate who I am. I am beautiful inside and out. There's so many things you can do that are powerful and beautiful and wonderful for your first part of the day. So I felt called while I was sitting in meditation to. Record an episode for you.
If you didn't catch the episode with Robin Cohen, it's really good. She's an actress and she's so beautiful inside and out, and I just loved our conversation so much. She shares so many vulnerable things about the death of her brother and about, moving to California and how she wasn't prepared for all the things.
She was very young and she just, had to. Do all kinds of therapy and coaching and different things to evolve into who she is today and to grow and to heal. And it's just beautiful when we share from the heart. And I love the conversation so much. So I hope you go back and listen. I have a relationship expert I interviewed that's gonna be on the show, so I have a lot of good stuff coming your way and I'm very excited this week.
For an adventure that I'm having with a friend. And lately I have been on autopilot and thankfully I recognize because I'm the observer of my life and I started to notice what I'm noticing and being a coach and doing this work for so long, I started to recognize that I wasn't. I wasn't being my higher self.
I wasn't in the right energies. And so this weekend I volunteered at the rescue and walked dogs, which was really great. 'cause I love animals and I love children. And I started my nopr I didn't start the nonprofit. I started fundraising to build the nonprofit to help young people, young adults.
18 to 30. I love to help teens, but I'm just gonna stick with 18 to 30 because then they're legal to help them find their passions and love themselves unconditionally and accept themselves and create lives they absolutely love. This is a deep passion of mine. I love young people because I'm probably still a young person in this body, but that's not the only reason.
I'm called to help young people. I love animals. I'm also back doing vegetarian at the time. At this time I may have fish sometimes, but I am. And when I eat animals, I get a reaction within 24 to 48 hours. I'm like in fear, lax scarcity, anxiety, all the things. I know it sounds crazy, but I'm gonna pay attention to it.
I'm gonna recognize when my. I'm blocked with negativity. Anyway, so back to the morning practice. I love you so much. I wanted to come on here and talk to you about a morning practice and how it matters in your life and how it's changes. It can change your life. It sets the tone for the day guys. It sets the tone for the day and it makes you feel so much better.
And stretching yoga. Working out is of course part of the morning practice, maybe it's going for a walk in nature. Going for a walk, reading something, inspiring, praying, having a healthy breakfast.
These are so important and maybe you fast, that's fine too. But meditation, prayer, setting, intentions for the day, journaling, laying, f affirmations. Visualizing, visualizing, carving out time. So Kathleen Cameron, who is a powerful manifestation queen, she wrote two books and her one book is the Best of Yourself, Kathleen Cameron, and she was on the podcast.
And , she always talks about, visualization and how our imagination is her greatest business tool. So this means we are powerful and we can visualize what we desire and sit in that. Like this is not just driving the car and having the life that you want in the house you want, but it's being in the feelings.
The feelings when you have the things you want. So now I am a. Successful life coach. I am helping and serving thousands of people through my coaching courses, podcast and books. I am. Driving my BMW crossover, all the things. And then how am I feeling? How am I feeling as this person? So I'm getting off the topic of the morning practice, but it's part of the morning practice to visualize.
So I want you to visualize the life you desire, the house you desire. How do you feel when you're inside that house? How do you feel when you're traveling or hosting retreats or attending retreats? Or whatever it is you desire for your life. Maybe it's a partner. How do you feel when you're with your husband or your wife?
How are you feeling? How are you treating them? It's really interesting how this works. So I wanted to bring it up to you. Anyway I hope that you are doing amazing, and I know we're all navigating something because every single person that I am in, in. Touch with or meet is navigating something right now.
And it's so interesting. So if you feel alone in your struggles and challenges, know that you are not alone.
You are not alone. We are all in this together. We're all connected. You're a wave in the ocean. You are a. Part of the sun. You're ray of the sun, you're wave in the ocean. We're all one. Realize it. Step into your energy that's going to serve you. Step into the positivity that's going to serve you. Step into who you came here to be.
A powerful goddess, a powerful God. You are a beautiful soul inside this human body, and we're taking life way too serious. So start your day with a morning practice where you're connecting and you're recognizing you're not your body, you're not your thoughts, you're not your mind. You are setting yourself up to win for the day by loving yourself, giving yourself this space and this time, and I don't care what you got going.
You can wake up a few minutes early, sit up in your bed and meditate. Sit up in your bed and pray before you get up. There's things you can do. And you are worth it. You are worthy and abundance is your birthright. So I love you. Have a beautiful day. I hope this served and supported you in some way. If it did, please share with somebody and leave a review.
It means the world to me to grow this audience, to help more people, to reach more people. And you know what? Giving in any way serving in any way is why we're here. It's part of why we're here. And we're also here to. Have a good time. We're here to be happy and choose joy. But when we give, we receive, I guarantee it comes back.
Like I may walk those dogs at the shelter and then I'm gonna get a new client, or I may clean out my closet and organize a drawer, and then I'm going to meet somebody new and go on a date. I'm telling you, this stuff works. It's all energy. Have a wonderful day. Take care and. Remember, you are worthy and abundance is your breath throat.
Take care. Bye.
